If bonehead doesn't get a Whipple upgrade, he soon to be dusted by a Mustang on the roads of central valley. :lol
...while the Viper still sits at 640 horses with nary a hint of an upgrade on the radar screen. :facepalm:

I don't think there will be a 5.8 in a 2015. By all accounts it will not fit in the engine compartment.

The rumor is only a 5 hp bump for the viper. What are they thinking. I guess they need to sell fewer than they already do.
I had a talk with the SRT chief a little over a week ago. Not sure what is going into the Viper 2015 model. Numbers are down and when compared to Vettes sold there is no comparison. That's why Viper production was halted because of the numbers. Hellcat engine will not fit into the Viper, too wide and the height could never be accommodated under the hood. Spoke about some coach built cars and have been exchanging sketches back and forth.
