Ron tell us more about it

I bought mine over 33 years ago. After that much time together, I don’t think there is a part on it that my hands haven’t touched.

Ron, What engine do you have in it?

Nice!!

Ron, What engine do you have in it?
Needless to say. But very excited to see it in my garage

Power comes from a 993 Carrera-sourced 3.6-liter M64 flat-six engine that has been modified with a programmable Haltech ECU, RS camshafts, carbon fiber-look intake runners, a BMC air filter, and a fender-mounted B&B oil cooler with an electric fan. A dyno-tested output of 290 RWHP and 271 lb-ft of torque is sent through a 5-speed Type 915 manual transaxle with a Patrick Motorsports lightweight flywheel, a Sachs clutch kit, and a Wavetrac limited-slip differential. Welded RSR rear shock tower reinforcements have been installed, and the suspension features Sway-A-Way 22mm front and 28mm rear torsion bars, Tarett adjustable sway bars, adjustable spring plates, and a front shock tower brace. The brakes have also been upgraded with cross-drilled discs and braided stainless-steel lines.

Mine is a “sleeper.” Other than the black wheels (16x7 Fuchs with Michelin AS3+ 205/55) it looks pretty stock. Under the deck lid it has a SC engine stroked to 3.2 with a Turbo crank and rods, higher CR Mahle Sport pistons and M1 cam so I continue running the SC CIS injection. At some point I might swap to EFI with ITBs. I haven’t dynoed it, but it should be around 215WHP.

It’s a street car so the suspension is compliant for street use on the crappy roads around my area. I lowered it a little bit, but it still sits high compared to the dick-draggers many people build. I have about 7” of suspension travel, and sometimes I take it off-piste so I need it. Koni Sport adjustable shocks, 21mm front torsion bars and 27mm rear with Stock sway bars, RSR bushings, bump steer correction, turbo tie rods and other miscellaneous stuff.

Sweet ride!
What’s the motor?
Chipped 3.2

Beautiful collection

I have two, a 70 911T and a 73.5 cis targa, love them both, think that the so called "long nose" was the most classic look for the 911 and the best of the breed are the 69-73 models. The back dating is very popular especially for the Pillsbury dough boy, pillowed bumpered, 964s
