Obviously some pretty important racecars. Great Find.

They went beyond normal by including the videos of the racecars.

Very cool post Superfly....

I dont get #1 -

Surprised there were no Benneton cars, esp the paint brush F1s

40. 1988 Benetton B188

I agree on number 1 - Italian Red was not just a Ferrari color - Lancia, Maserati, O.S.C.A., Alfa Romeo all used it

Very cool.

not huge on NASCAR, but i am surprised there are not more on the list. Gordon's original Rainbow DuPont & Petty's blue STP to name a couple.

23. 1972 Richard Petty STP Plymouth Road Runner

I can't stand NASCAR for what its worth..... I'd rather watch paint dry....

The Martini Porsche's have always been a favorite. I've also loved the red Marlboro (one of Camilo's all time favorites as well). As a former superbike racer I can't leave out my favorite bike liveries of all time, Castrol Honda (There were cars too.) Smokin Joe's Honda (I still own one, they also campaigned race boats, cars, and funny cars in the same livery.) Finally, Lucky Strike Suzuki. All big favorites. Of course, the Gulf GT livery is my all time favorite made famous by John Wyer racing and Gulf. Too bad cigarettes are bad for you, they make for great sponsors!

Last but not least

Not to dominate this thread but since the tobaco companies pulled out of racing (for the most part), Red Bull has stepped in to sponsor all forms of motorsport. I love their livery, and actually own the car pictured, the #58 Brumos Porsche Fabcar Daytona Prototype driven by David Donohue and Darren Law at the Daytona 24 Hour in 2005 and 2006. (I MAY bring it to the Rally VI assuming nobody has a problem with me bringing a Porsche). I love the Red Bull Livery too!

Here are a couple of cars that I love - Gulf and Sunoco liveries - - -

Petty Superbird

Petty's Plymouth was a '70, not a '72. He returned from Ford in 1969 running the aero Torino Talledegas against the more aero and superior Dodge Daytonas. The birds proved too dominant and the winged cars were gone, at least with the Hemi, by the end of 1970.

What is a Livery? Liveries?
