With that many tickets you may get your license suspended! What was the citation for the 0-50 run? I sometimes think I have a car problem and pull over in the shoulder to check things out on the freeway. Then I have to merge back into traffic and accelerate rather quickly to get back in the flow of traffic. I would think this a not a violation to go 0 to 65 in less than 4 seconds.

Your insurance agent will either get a nice bonus at renewal time or drop your coverage.

Sorry to hear about the tickets. Doesn't everybody drive 80 to 90 on the freeways nowadays?

I got two in two months, 40 in a 25 and 49 in a 35, what a joke. Something needs to be done? We need a highway like the autobahn.

I got two in two weeks before. One speeding clocked 90 in a 55, written up as a 82, a week later illegal U turn.

The 1st time I visited my daughter after she moved to ARIDzona, she quickly found it necessary to "clue me in" on the speed limit rules in the Valley'. We were returning from Scottsdale on the 101 and I was in the right lane doing 67 in a 65. I could tell she was getting 'flustered' with that. She finally said, "Dad - you're driving like a Blue Hair. Lemme explain the rules of the road down here, okay? Hiway? 20 over. Surface streets? 10 over - OR YOU'LL GET RUN OVER!!! Exception? School zones. 'EXACTLY 15 MPH and noooo faster. They get REAL snotty about speedin' thru school zones around here. 'GOT IT??? Krymuny! WHY do you own hot rods? Puleeeeeeze!!!" ( :lol )

"OH! Yes dear! Uh huh. I'll endeavor to do lots more gooder from here on." (She was outta the hospital early that afternoon...:bored )

Here in Chicago the highway speed limit is still 55 :bored

If you do 55 you'll get rear ended and pushed off the road. Everyone does 80, this allows the police to pull over whoever they want, whenever they feel like it...

0 to 60 in a hurry? = exhibition of speed. If someone is next to you and you both do it? = Speed contest. Both here in Ca are Misdemeanors not tickets!

I got an exhibition many years ago on my old GPZ 1100. When I went to court I read the violation to the judge and it made no mention of smoking tires, long burnouts or wheeies. Then I produced a artical in Hot Bike showing pictures of the bike undergoing speed tests..... NOT GUILTY! :thumbsup

(1) This is ANOTHER joke. The law doesn't GIVE mph attained in "X" number of feet distance figures ...so, it's the cop's "judgement" call! Oh, SWELL!

(2) Pretty cut & dried.

But here in Wash. St. EITHER gitz yuh a tkt.
