2013 Shelby GT500

You are right. It is incorrect to imply I never pushed the car But it was well cared for. BTW anyone considering a sale of a muscle car should consider the Australian market. My GT500 will sale for $130K+ in Brisbane.

$35,000 to convert to RSDriving in Australia, but that just increases the worth of the car.

1) Did you market the car specifically in Australia or did the buyer find you here?

2) Did you do/arrange the conversion?

Thanks

Place add on cars.com. Took about 2 weeks for the buyer's contact man in the states to call me. He came by in LA to see car, and the deal was done. If you are interested in selling a car, cars.com is about $60 for 4-6 weeks, up to 10 images. If it is something they are looking for they will find you. They are looking for Camaros, Mustangs, preferable GT500s, vipers, and some chrysler muscle.

As I recall from a very old thread at least one GT did get converted.

If I remember correctly, it is legal to drive a LHD car in Great Britain but not in Oz. You must have the conversion.

I remember being amazed at the apparent quality of the conversion when I first saw the thread.

Anyone know the projected production numbers on the '013 GT500?

I read somewhere the '015 will have IRS and the biggest V8 will be the 5.0. Not sure how accurate this is.

The word on svtperformance.com is that 2013 production is being extended. Although I don't know the anticipated production numbers, I believe Dave said it isn't a limited edition.

It is a virtual certainty that the new GT500 will have a 5.0 of some sort. The Cobra Jet is already using a twin turbo 5.0. IRS is a given.

What's to become of the 5.8?

Most likely the history books.
