2005/06 Factual auction sale prices

These auction results are very interesting. They match exactly what I have noticed in the market this year (aside from the lowball value for blue....??). White and grey seem to be the most frequently offered, followed closely by red. White seems to be the "best priced", followed closely by red and grey.

After throwing the anomalous blue car from the data set, the '06s average around 150 and the '05s around 149 at auction - basically the same.

Be nice, nothing wrong with that car and the new owner might become a member here. Please!:wink

I didn't mean anything by the comment. Just info. I have no problem with that car Mr. Bony. Please don't mess w/ my post #'s.:wink

I figure, no matter what the color, it is still a Ford GT. And that my friend, is why we are all here on this forum. No hostilities. Just pure admiration.

Whew! I'm already out of tequila!:ack I better take a nap.

Your post count is safe:)
Just clear your own bar tab :)

On a serious note, we all have different tastes and ideas.
The common thread is the FGT.
All FGT owners should feel welcome here.

At the risk of sounding drunk, it is very obvious that there are some very insecure owners among our ranks. If the GT had only been offered in "pink", all would have been sold. The reason some colors are so scarce is because they had less appeal than the ones that sold in greater numbers, and the reason several colors were offered was to appeal to the tastes of the cross section of potential buyers. Most buyers probably did not see all of the colors in person before making their choice, and very few buyers probably saw 2 or more different colors side by side before making their choice. Some owners have purchased additional GT's, and probably none of them purchased the same color as the first. No one has the fastest gun, no one has the biggest dick, the common thread is we have the greatest car of the 21st Century, even is the color appeals to no one other than ourself. :cheers

Wow, Kirby.

I'm keepin' out of this. I mean, some of you have guns an' stuff. :eek

If it does come down to a shoot out, when I said, in a previous post that 'Red's best, nah, nah, ne, nah, nah' it was actually Gierkink that said that.

Thanks for your insight!

If he keeps up this rant about red cars, there just may be some "red" necks pay him a visit.

How 'bout an "ORANGE" neck visit?:thumbsup

That’s why I drive one of those very conservative lookin' cartoon colored GT’s.:thumbsup

I like GT "STUFF".

All GT's look good and are worth what they are worth.

BUT, I must say that I have to disagree with some of the "distinguished" commentators here; the Heritage is not only the best looking, most valuable, fastest, sexiest, refined, well behaved, polite, polished, friendly, intelligent........... Must I continue Gentlemen?:lol

I JUST LOVE THIS THING!!!:thumbsup

Damn, I glad I am color blind, all I see is the beautiful body!!!
