That was a fun rally! I won 8k in the casino playing blackjack. Went to the dinner/auction at the speedway and promptly spent it all on FGT memorabilia.

Wow, what a great story regarding the prototypes and how they were to be handled. Also some great memories of the early Rallies, which is just as fascinating to me since I did not come aboard until mid 2009 when I bought my 2005.
(I still have it and I'm original owner).
You can have nearly everything ever put in print about GT'S but you'll not find any of these memories, which IMHO is the best of best, of it all.
Rally 6 was my first to attend.
It really seems that time does fly. I've had the 05 for 16 years (April 10) and it's now a 20 year old car!
Will be interesting to see what happens at Mecum.
