Wow, and they are reducing the price of inventory (since they know they wouldn't be able to sell the 14's if the 15's are reduced.

Not going to work. It's not a desirable car. The V10 still sounds like shit.

The worst launched car in history. Makes me sick.

So...if you bought '14 last week for $100K you can get a '15 for $70K?

"In addition to the new starting price, all existing Gen 5 Viper owners will get a certificate worth $15,000 that can be redeemed toward the purchase of a new Dodge Viper. This $15,000 certificate is in addition to the $15,000 price reduction."

Guess no owners can sell their new cars for anything over $85K.

Viper Alley saying heavy dealer discounts are on offer as well...so maybe even a 7 in starting price...Z06 territory

They should have a had a clean slate design of bodywork

Facelift is not enough for folks to leave their ACRs and other greats from last generation...

...not to mention the lack of a "facelift" in the horsepower department.

I'm still completely at a loss to understand the logic(?) behind Mopar's decision to offer the 707-710 h.p. V-8 Hemi in Challengers and Chargers while at the same time leaving the V-10 in Mopar's $100K+ Gen 5 'halo car' at its sub-par 640-645 h.p. level. 'Makes absolutely no sense to me at all.

The huge Viper price cuts(s) indicate(s) to me that Mopar must recognize (on some level at least) what some of us have opined for some time now, namely that it makes no sense for someone to pay over 6 figures for a 600 h.p. car when there are 700 h.p. cars that can be had for about 1/2 that amount - if h.p. is one's 'bag'.

I owned an 04 and someone noted that it sounded like a UPS truck. Since I get a lot of UPS packages I get the sound repeated over and over again. Ugh.

Hopefully, and realistically, it should bump up the values of the older Vipers - Like the '58 Thunderbird did to the '55-'57 two-seaters....

This is really a non-event. You could walk in the dealer and get these prices or less already. Now it's just advertised.

Stunning how values of '03-'11 Vipers have fallen; not sure why, obviously its not a daily driver but -50+% in 5yrs

High 30Ks..lots of Corvettes sell for that and were 50K new!
