0088 Transfornation to David Hobbs car #7 (long)

Nicely done Ang :thumbsup

How close (or far apart) are those orange colors on calipers and the center stripe?

That looks killer! Way to go!

not really sure. I matched the center strip to my CAV #6 car. Its very very close to that. More accurate to the 1969 gulf stripe.

Hi Terry, thx. Hope to see you soon. When r you going to Multimatic next?

Had a couple of the Gulf / checkered flags left over. As there is no where on the back bumper to put these, I put them in this location instead.

amazing job!

thx.
Also guys here is the list of what my wrap guy did. It is more than just where debris could potentially hit:
This is a true full car wrap!!
Complete Carbon Fiber Under Carriage
2nd layer on Front half of Under Carriage (balance of under carriage still to have 2nd layer done)
Complete Rear Diffuser, including 11 fins
Hood
Roof
Rear Spoiler
Rockers
A-Pillars
Bottom of Doors ( 2 Layers)
Engine Cover
Front Fenders
Rear Quarters
Wind Tunnel (Both Sides & bottom)
Headlights
Front Bumper
Rear Bumper
2nd Layer under Exhaust
Mirrors including Carbon Stocks
2nd Layer on impact area behind all four wheels
Door Sills (Satin film)

That come out great. Well done. Hope to see it in the flesh one day.

Can the orange stripe in between the exhaust pipes survive the heat in that area? And is the clear bra installed over the top of the stickers or are the stickers applied over the clear bra?

Chip

Chip the decals are installed over the clear. Then they have the C Quartz coating applied over it all. I was told always install the decals over the clear to make it easier to remove and also there are no ridge lines between the decal and the clear bra if you did it the other way around. The clear is the most important in my mind.
I guess time will tell in very short order if it can handle the heat.

A few pics driving to Niagara Falls as part of the break in kms. Met a couple of fellow Ford brothers along the way.

"Signing Bonus"

So a good friend of mine came by today. About a year ago I transferred one of my investments accounts to him. Always negotiating I ask him where my "signing bonus"?. Of course not really serious, well maybe a little, he simply laughs. So he knows I am getting the new GT and tells me he has a surprise coming for me.
Today was the surprise.
Fantastic piece. Beautiful design and all Italian leather. As he said a beautiful suit needs a great pocket square. So with this wonderful piece of art on wheels here is its pocket square.
