    Heavy clutch pedal

Would have hoped so, I'll check again! In case they haven't would I be able to do it myself or does it need to go back to garage?

    Heavy clutch pedal

Thanks for the advice, actually my tach blips "down" when the clutch bite (unless I release clutch very slowly and then there is no blip whatsoever). I am actually applying gas at that point in order to prevent that... Maybe that is confusing the stall system then? Btw a straight pipe exhaust...

    Heavy clutch pedal

Thanks guys for the replies... On driving style I can take the blame, not sure to being the best clutch driver tbh. From a standstill I usually modulate throttle (very little) to avoid stalling while not slipping. Would you be suggesting not to appal throttle at all? When I do so car does not...

    Heavy clutch pedal

Looks like I am starting off a 3rd clutch today after just 11k miles (all of them stock), I got it installed with brand new flywheel and slave (came out to an exhorbitant amount of money all-in, probably 'cause I am in the uk). Reason for the post is that unfortunately I am a bit frustrated...

A little bit of a horror story...

Positive. Just that second key might be a couple of hours away to retrieve, window down is a very good idea but wasn't thinking very straight when I saw all gauges toasted!

A little bit of a horror story...

So preliminary result is a battery fault and a high voltage error with oil pressure switch, requiring replacing of both. Will get confirmation on Tuesday as Monday is holidays on this side of the pond. So far no words on gauges from revolve... No news is good news for the weekend. :-) Once...

A little bit of a horror story...

thanks, would be very relieved if it was the battery only... hopefully it hasnt fried anything else. locking myself out was the very stupid bit, especially as i was not dressed for the weather and had all belonging (bar the iphone thank god) in the car. for a moment i though about breaking...

A little bit of a horror story...

Thanks EP, hope so. Don't have a trickle charger but the car never goes for more than two weeks undriven. I make it imperative to do at least 30 minutes of driving at least every two weeks to keep everything alive and working - this morning drive was one in question. Battery was changed 1 year...

A little bit of a horror story...

Took out the car this morning for work, was on its biweekly round to keep all the bits working. Started out all fine then the check engine light comes out, so I take out the obdkey just to check that it is the o2 sensor on the catback, no code found. I stop to refuel, so far so good, get back...

    Starting problem

quite neat actually... allows you to shut down the engine remotely in case of theft and locate the vehicle, you have a wireless key to keep in the pocket and you get a call straightaway if someone else start up your car. doesn't store vehicle telemetry (at least mine) so hopefully no big brother...

    lost keys

yeah unfortunately mine is OEM and has Ford GT written on it, it is not a very common sight in London so there is an hopefully remote chance that someone might try his luck. Hopefully Mountune will be able to do something about it.... was hoping for a quick fix in the meantime. will let you know...

    lost keys

Thanks very helpful, so if I re-program the (only) one I have 5 times over then pretty sure that the lost one would be wiped out...

thanks jcthorne, have already sent an email to Dave Jones re getting a new set... was wondering if there is a procedure to re-synch the chip/keyfob codes in order to prevent unwanted access to the car...

    lost keys

very embarrassing but it seems that my first set of keys decided to vanish  (technically they might have slipped off my pocket while on a cab...) luckily I have a second set but was just wondering if there is a way to re-program the chip / codes on the second key to render the lost...

they will definitely lobby but so far it is only impacting italy... which is not the lion share of their business! ...btw it gets worse if you dare to own a boat, you have to pay taxes upon the first refueling of the year and it is in the tens of thousands!! as usual from one extreme to the...
