    Sold my 2005 GT

Not too concerned about miles if service records are provided, keep mods to a minimum, colors in no particular order; white, red, blue but open to anything. Don't need an "optioned" car; actually prefer stock wheels... never considered a salvage car (title issues in Ohio?) - moderate accident...

    Sold my 2005 GT

NorthwoodGT was right, (see older post in this thread) "they all come back"... after selling my 2005 GT in 2022, I'm looking to get back into ownership. Did the Corvette C8 (used), traded that in on a Shelby CSX9000 Daytona Coupe, sold the coupe and have a 2024 C8 on order. Looking for a...

    Sold my 2005 GT

After 2 years and over 9000 miles I came to the sad conclusion that it was time to sell my car. For what it sold for, I basically got to drive the car for free (less insurance and gas). Great car, lot's of fun, but just getting concerned about values going down (IMHO), lack of parts and what...

Any interest in an adapter to mount a speedhut speedo in an OEM dash? Did this one. Works well. Working on a tach adapter too.

I've already replaced the "small" gauges with AutoMeter... can Speedhut tach & speedo work on the same wiring harness in conjunction with the AutoMeters? If so, I'd be interested in the adapter. Dan

Updates on your 2005-2006 Ford GT, What have you done lately?

Got the Cool Tech differential cooler installed a few weeks ago - very smooth process; maybe 4 hours over 2 days. Probably would have only been 3 hours if I hadn't dropped a bolt a couple times (sigh... ) and had to fish them out blind from on top of the belly pan. Started up the car to check...

    Sore need of tires

Ordered a full set from Tire Rack on 2/19 and received them on the 25th... they've gone up about $500 since 2020. I didn't know about Radial Tire until I saw this thread - as they are spoken very highly of on this forum; will look at them on the next order. I've put about 6,000 miles on this...

Looking for Superformance "Shelby" Daytona Coupe

Called Downforce Motorsports about CSX 9146; it has apparently been sold.

Looking for Superformance "Shelby" Daytona Coupe

As I understand it, the 2000 Series (Kirkham Motorsports sourced rollers ?) are much closer to original spec Coupes in terms of dimensions, leaf sprung suspension, etc. I'm more attracted to the updated Brock/Superformance MKII changes - unfortunately; ordering one is about 2 years out. So...

Looking for Superformance "Shelby" Daytona Coupe

Tony, I saw the Hillbank cars, but those are 2000 series aluminum cars… Downforce Motorsports has a 9000 series but with the roundels. I was looking at another 289 roadster, but the wife didn’t want to deal with hair damage and sunscreen 😊 I look at the Daytona as more of a grand tourer...

Looking for Superformance "Shelby" Daytona Coupe

Looking to buy a Superformance "Shelby" CSX 9000 Series - Blue w/White stripes... preferably no painted on roundells or car numbers. Would also like a EFI engine vs. carbs. Doesn't seem to be anything for sale out there... Wanted to post in "Marketplace" but I don't have...

    4 Post Lifts

I was waffling between Bendpak and Advantage - eventually went with Advantage DX-9000-XLT after they received their ALI Certification. To get the cert they added a lock that kicks in the unlikely event that a cable should jump off the pulley or break. Mine is not bolted to the floor and sits on...

Updates on your 2005-2006 Ford GT, What have you done lately?

Got the GT back from Pat Milliken Ford at the end of July. All fluids and belts replaced, they also installed the CoolTech oil drain kit for me and went thru the car to note any other issues (there were none). Original plan was for Ian to trailer the car back and forth but when it was time to...

    Radiator Fan Speeds/Temps

Thanks to everyone who replied - again I'm not concerned about the temps; what I'm seeing seems to be very typical. My interest was that I was curious if anyone knew what temps triggered the slow, medium and high speeds for the fans. Just ordered the the transaxle cooler - looks like a good...

    Radiator Fan Speeds/Temps

Just curious, After reading some old threads regarding water temp ranges, I was curious if anyone knew what temperatures trigger the low, medium and high speed settings on fans to kick on? We live in a town with a seasonal population and with the warmer weather coming in and more frequent...

    Document Storage

Thanks for all the feedback - I can't reach behind the passenger seat because of the sub-woofer. just ordered this off Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072HJJBVZ?psc=1&smid=A3COAXIQIU7M6P&ref_=chk_typ_imgToDp Looks to be just about the right size... will have the wife sew a couple elastic...

    Document Storage

I knew about the mesh in front of the drivers seat, but didn’t like the idea of folding up the documents to fit... that’s where we keep the hand sanitizer (sigh...) just don’t like the idea of handing out an origami pile of paperwork to an officer. I had them under the front seat but they kept...
