    Sometimes the up shift then down shift takes more time than hitting the rev limiter for a second and leaving it in a lower gear.

    I have had the clunck after a wash as well but this is different. You start the car and before it moves there is this clunck. I cannot remember if ac is on or if it happens after letting the clutch in after you start the engine.

    carbon fiber clutch. That is why it is hard to launch smoothly and get going up a hill and to parallel park. If you live in San Fran it is no fun to own a carrera gt.
