    Dr. Sims' Famous Decals

Ed, Thank you very much for sending me the stickers. I applaud your efforts and kindness. Dan P.S. What is the best area on the car to apply? Can anyone offer some input? Thanks...

    Any well connected Ford people?

If time spent is equal too money lost, the price is getting steep! I like your approach Neilda and Doc has it right, that was comical. :cheers

I hope this is not true !!

Can't resist jumping into the pool on this one! The writing is on the wall here, driver error. I'll never forget totally losing control of my !st Viper back in '02. I'm man enough to admit that I wasn't expecting the car to "break loose" when it did (at about 110 mph in a corner) and it scared...

Oil change recap/ everyone read this

Yes, I made sure of it! Like I said in my original post I would have done this myself had I not wanted to get the first LOF into Ford's computer. Everything you've said is true though and I don't even blame the tech, he was great and very caring for the car. Also the "4-post" is what we ended up...

Oil change recap/ everyone read this

Last week I posted "1st oil change" inquiry, here's the outcome. I'm a new car dealer and easily could have done the service at our store but wanted to have it in Ford's system as being done at 970 miles and also by a "certified" Ford GT tech. I requested that I be present during the service and...

    1st Oil change

Hey guys, I'm at 950 miles and ready for the first oil change! What has everyone been doing regarding oil changes, have you guys been doing them on your own or taking it to the dealer? If taking it to the dealer how much could I expect to pay? I'm figuring $150-200 including parts/oil! Does this...

    My patience is gone....

That's a real bummer dude! I'm an Acura dealer and that crap would NEVER go on @ our store. If they are being that difficult about such silly items then your shoveling the s___ against the tide. It sounds like you're well represented so let the lions out of the cage and make them squirm. The...

    White or Heritage?

It's a win/win proposition. You'll be happy with either but you'll be more unique if you get the heritage. I got the Tungsten which matches my Cobra perfectly and I'm happy with my choice. I bought my car locally right off the showroom floor but would have bought the heritage as well had my...

Any speculation as to future GT prices?

Bravo Vince!!! I break my tail to afford this car but it was never a question of price or what it's worth might be someday. I know you all have heard me complain about the constant reference to price threads on this site and I'm gonna complain again. I wish everyone would stop responding to this...

Anyone ever consider a Lambo door

Sounds good Rob! Maybe we can shoot for the 28th of June and if not we'll go in July. I'll pm you (feel free to do the same) regarding that date. PS actually she might look better with a stache!!! :biggrin :banana :slap

Anyone ever consider a Lambo door

Rob, Bear Mountain pulls in 600-800 cars on Wednesday nights. You name it, hotrods, race cars, exotics, bikes it's all their. Maybe we can meet one Wednesday night, roll in together and stop traffic. I see you have a Heritage, I have a Tungsten. Can you imagine the crowd response when they see...

Anyone ever consider a Lambo door

And here I felt like I just fell off the turnip truck. Has anyone ever seen this car? I would bet it's priceless if it exists!!!

Anyone ever consider a Lambo door

Agreed, they alter the original designated specs but I respectfully disagree using the word "structural" when it comes to bolt on/off changes. See if this analogy makes sense! You decide you want to put all new appliances in your kitchen. You do this w/out altering the walls, floor countertops...

Anyone ever consider a Lambo door

rsilverman, I did not say I wouldn't enhance my GT, I said I wouldn't cut it up. Pulley's, exhaust etc. is bolt on bolt off, no fabricating involved and original parts are easily replaced. Removing doors and roof panels is quite different. Centerpunch, I had no idea their was a roadster. How...

Anyone ever consider a Lambo door

Absolutely not! Why would you alter this cars structure, the doors are already unique, one of a kind to my knowledge. I don't even get the GTX deal, yeah it looks good but the GT40 was a coupe is a coupe and should stay a coupe. Just my opinion, I'm not into cutting up my GT. To each their own...

    new buyer of Ford GT

You are so right Gordo. Their's one thing about this car that shouldn't matter and that's money. Anyone who can afford 160 can afford 165 or 167 or whatever! It's the privelage of owning one that should matter, the color and options one desires should be what matters, not the darn money. I wish...
