Well this issue has apparently slipped off the radar screen. As articulated by several members previously (including myself), it's too dicey to replace a failed gauge sans a root cause analysis and affirmative corrective action. I replaced the fuel gauge, because at the time I thought it was...

Minimizing fill ups extends the life of the flapper valve. I never fill up with the tank >1/4 full.

Hard to deal with the childlike behavior; Faust seems to bring that with him from Supercars Exposed where that other fool Paul Tracey behaved just as badly.

100 degree ambient temp and I can run at 180 all day long. Don't think it ever got anywhere near 200. Custom tune and FRPP rear exit headers though!

OEM Goodyear tires can be quite noisy <20 mph; at times had me thinking bad wheel bearing. Bridgestones eliminated the problem.

I believe they run in the neighborhood of ~ 1/3 less. But for me, I wouldn't buy one even if it were selling for 2/3 less. That's just me .....
