Rick, I bought a 2005 model that had been sitting for about a year at the dealer. The battery was flat; they tried recharging, and then just replaced the battery under warranty before I took delivery of the car. I agree with Empty Pockets, have the battery checked, charged, or replaced.

I also own an SPF Cobra and a Ford GT. I was lucky enough not to have to sell the SPF. I like them both; they are unique. But, at the end of the day, I agree with the others, the FGT is the one.

ASGT, I agree with you. Tom needs to do a better job researching his subject matter. For example, Jeremy Clarkson also takes back his GT and praises it on one of his later episodes..a point Tom does not make. As for the quality issues, hell we know it has its share, but they aren't show...
