My New Gauges Arrived! Now to install them!!!

I lengthened the harness and ran the wires thru the interior tunnel. I used the fuel pressure sensor vacuum source for the boost signal. I guess if you wanted you could run a vacuum/boost line instead of wires and mount the sensor closer to the dash. Just to clarify, I mounted my boost sensor in...

Gauge layout, what do you think?

Why wait, if the next gauge is the Tach., that's the cost of the complete Speed Hut set. Make the switch now and save the rest of your gauges until a fix is found.

    aftermarket gauge installation & illumination

Before you do the install, think about switching the temperature gauge and the fuel gauge, making the temperature gauge easier to view.

Where to get Service in Orange County California?

You could try Stillen or Hennessey, I think they're both local.

    headers

In previous discussions the general opinion seemed to be headers didn't add that much power. The greatest benefit seemed to be weight savings and sound. I have the Stainless system and am very satisfied.

Belly Pan Torx bolt female end stripped. What to do?

Sounds like you need to get under there and take the pan off. Once the pan is off the solution will probably become clear. I think getting the pans off is actually easier on the ground using a jack and jack stands, using a 4 post lift didn't help that much.

    boostapump

Is the theory behind using higher voltages anything like running an air compressor? Running a compressor at 110volts seems a lot harder on the compressor than running it at 220 volts.

    boostapump

Been looking into the Kenne Bell BAP, seems to be very similar to the boostaspark in theory and design. I was wondering if you only used the 40 amp boostapump, could it also power the ignition or not enough power?

    oil on spark plugs

I removed my plugs the other day to do an inspection, I was surprised by the amount of oil on the plug threads. I am used to seeing a few threads with a little oil, but all the threads were wet. Is this normal or do I have a problem? By the way, the plugs themselves were dry and looked normal.

    replacement fuel injectors

Some people try different products that do the same job, but do it better. If you changed the words fuel injectors to spark plugs you would probably get a lot of opinions, I just thought someone may have found a product that worked better .

    Any news on gauge failures?

At this point I think anyone with a gauge failure, or a sleepless night worrying about one, should go to the Speedhut solution. As a permanent answer or a temporary fix you can't beat the cost, quality or simplicity of solving a problem with no other obvious solution. I had two bad gauges and am...
