i believe the rating comes from the difference between "desirable" and "rare". with 4,000 made, it will take many years for it to be considered "rare". but it has so many attributes that make it desirable that nice low mileage examples have not lost any value.

i agree 100% with those who recommend that the bolts get replaced. i drove my GT very little after buying it until i replaced the bolts. i disagree with my brothers who characterize that the job as "easy". true, it is just replacing 2 inner shaft and 6 outer shaft bolts on each side. but...

The car was in excellent condition (good gaps, chin spoiler barely scratched, interior very clean). The transaxle bolts had not been changed. I thought it was slightly low, but in this economy, and for that auction, it was probably right price.
