Rick, I asked around and there has been a couple of GTs were the rubber bumper has had enough adhesion to stick the cap closed. They said a drop of WD40 on the rubber bumper pad corrected the issue. After hearing this, I'll keep my rubber bumper lubed! Hope this helps,
