    Gas struts for NFGT doors

There is probably a core charge.... either that or when you bought the car, you really didn't buy all of it.

    Speedometer Stuck

Is the needle acting "sticky"? Does it behave "normally" under vacuum conditions and act up once under boost or is it just erratic all the time?

    Speedometer Stuck

Because of its "hoop" shape, I think it would be an absolute bitch to 3D print....

    Speedometer Stuck

More misinformation... A low battery will effect the Gauge Control Module and could cause the inability of one or more gauges to properly "check in" (aka, get assigned an address so the GCM can communicate with the gauge throughout that start session.) When this occurs, one or more gauges will...

    Gas struts for NFGT doors

If Ford replaced under warranty, they have a right to keep the old ones. If you paid for the new ones, Ford has no right to the old ones.

    Seeking BJ auction advice

I think for an informed GT buyer, you should at least have AN ANSWER for the following questions. (Note: It doesn't necessarily have to be a good answer. GT's have remarkably low maintenance requirements BUT, I think it is important for GT owners to get a good maintenance baseline and then...

    Clutch oil leak

Hachi - Please see the TSB regarding the rear main seal leak in the attached document. Note that the part from Ford has long since been discontinued... but you may be able to find directly from the company?

    Clutch oil leak

IMHO you don't need dye to detect the presence of motor oil.

    Clutch oil leak

Regarding the 2008 photo of the inside of the bellhousing.... yeah, that's a lot of oil. If you're still seeing seepage between the transaxle and engine block, it's safe to say you still have a leak at the rear main seal. That said, and I wouldn't get your hopes up, but there's a small...

    Clutch oil leak

It is highly unlikely that a SS is installed and an oil leak still remains. Possible? Yes. Likely? No.

    Clutch oil leak

There's only two possibilities. First, the hydraulically activated clutch throw-out bearing resides in the bell housing. That could be leaking, although I've NEVER seen it happen. In this case, the fluid would be brake fluid with a distinctive smell. Second, it could be the rear main seal...

Ford GT brand and tire size recommendations

Those rears would have a diameter of 45mm LESS than OEM. Might look pretty funny. Same for the front - 53mm LESS in diameter compared to OEM.

    Show Me Your Speedhut Replacement

The gauges look great. I'm assuming then that the boost gauge has been direct wired to its own MAP sensor or is the 30psi scale just for better aesthetics?

    engine noise

Huh? It is impossible to see the oil pump belt and pulley even with the pans removed. Oil pump pulley failure is not a thing and it is belt driven with a spring tensioner.

    engine noise

A few guesses for you... On cold start, the GT is going to raise it's idle speed to somewhere in the 900-1200 rpm range. I've noticed too that GT's can have an inherent vibration at these higher rpm's coupled with high (cold) oil pressure. Most likely, this is what you may be describing...
