OK, I read about the "rattlesnake" noises and no, I don't have any problems like that....in fact I think it's fine, just a slight vibration at idle. There is no problem when applying power causing a problem as was stated by Soroush earlier in the thread...Hopefully it will stay that way. Thanks

Only at idle..very smooth at 2000 rpm. Was that like yours?

Here in Mississippi I once had a guy who was working at the KFC located at the gas station where I was filling up, run out the door toward me with his hands waving and screaming "Id know'd that not a Ferrari!"

My car has a slight vibration while idling. My Porsche-BMW mechanic says it feels like a failing motor mount that frequently fail, he says, on the German cars at fairly low miles. My car has 15k miles. I'll ask the GT Guys at the rally, but just wondering if that has been an issue for anyone.

Be careful Ed...the MHP can get malignant if you are way out of wack...like over 100.. But, they have only stopped me once in my GT..just to ask what it was.

A quick note, my GT mechanic says my 14k mile GT is still perfect, and I need to drive it regularly. He cautioned that the seals, like in the AC compressor, get hard and brittle and will leak if not driven at least a couple times a month. So, super low miles on a car is not without risk...

I would never compare a 458 to a GT, in my eyes they both have supermodel looks...
