    Another Bumper Delete Thread

One more question that I am sure someone knows the answer. If I pull the stock muffler and replace it with a lighter Ford Racing or Heffner Exhaust does that affect the ride height? If yes, how is that adjusted? Finally, let me ask the hotly debated question (a) Heffner or (b) Ford Racing. I...

    Another Bumper Delete Thread

Look forward to hearing the damage. I still may do it myself because I like to tinker but this may not be the right thing to tinker with.

    Another Bumper Delete Thread

I figure that if I throw the bumper in the trash that I will find out 5 years from now that you can't sell a car without a bumper. I'll keep the parts.

    Another Bumper Delete Thread

I am thinking about doing the bumper delete to my car with the CDC kit and I am either going to add a Ford Racing or a Heffner Exhaust since I need the tips to look right and I want to preserve the stock parts in case the next owner wants them. I am likely to tackle it myself. Anyone done...

Houston bound in the next 1-2 weeks for dyno tuning.

Understood, I am just a neophyte with these cars and don't want to break something made of unobtainium. When you know your schedule, and if you have a little slot for a newby please let me know. My only "speed mod" that is in the future is probably an exhaust and bumper delete but my pennies...

Torrie, let me know when you are here and I might want to hire you to show me an oil change for the first time. I have the filter and the oil but it might be good to hire and instructor to show me the ropes for the first one. Not exactly speed demon stuff but it is more on my level of tinkering.

    Dumb Question Number One

Tomy, I just wish you still have the Ford dealership because I feel a lot of parts coming.

    Dumb Question Number One

Ok, I am new here. I was going to take off the wheels to clean up the brake dust. I have the std wheels on the car with the center cap that covers the lugs. I assume the cap just pops off but before I put a screwdriver behind it I wanted to know if there was any trick. Anyone care to share?

    Optional Wheels WTB

Thanks, called Shelby, deal done. It was nice to deal with him because he clearly stands behind what he is selling.

    New Guy in the Fold

Tomy, you are the guilty party for getting me started on this. Your GT was the first one that I saw at Lakewood Wheels & Keels. I used to be a mechanic at Russell & Smith so I had always had an affinity for Fords. I had my 355 in the show that year. Still have that and now with the Ford GT...

    New Guy in the Fold

This is my first post on this forum. I have always wanted a Ford GT and my bank account finally agreed. I assume am the newest Ford GT owner having just gotten my car yesterday. It is a 2005 with Vin 0157 and is red/white. I have 3 of 4 options. It had 171 miles yesterday and will have more...
