    Houston AutoRama

We have two GT's in the show and they tell me that there will be two more before the night is out. If that holds true this will be a pretty good showing for the brand. I know that JC has his blue GT in there. If anyone knows who else is showing please let me know.

Stock exhaust out through the top?

Remove two pins, pop off two struts, have two friends and spare two minutes. Done. PS. If you buy the foam insulation from Home Depot for plumbing pipes -- the kind with the slit down the side -- you can slide it over the front and rear edge of the clamshell and you don't have to worry about...

Stock exhaust out through the top?

Yeah, I took the whole rear panel off and it was pretty easy. Just a bunch of clips and screws. I don't think you can mount the lower filler panel without getting the rrear panel off the car. Or to be more clear, you could get it done with the rear panel on the car but I needed to do a little...

Stock exhaust out through the top?

If you are doing a bumper delete you need to take the clamshell off anyway. When the bumper comes off the muffler will nearly fall out in your hand. And I didn't have to cut any bolts. The only "trick" was after it all went back together was to loosen the cats and realign everything just to...

    A Gauge Question

From what I understand having talked with the guy he does not repair the gauge, he simply replaces the guts from other autometer gauges. Before it sounds too exciting he said he could only do the tachs and speedos. He had done a couple of boost gauges but never any of the others.

    A Gauge Question

Guys, kind of odd but when power was applied to the car all of the gauges returned to their zero value so I went ahead and bought the panel. Maybe it was a dumb move but they all work at the moment. I did have a good conversation with Shannon at Red Line Gauge Works who says that he can...

    A Gauge Question

I already have Speedhuts for my failed OEM but I was looking for an OEM panel to leave on the shelf so to speak

    A Gauge Question

The crazy thing is that if it were one of the gauges I would think for sure that it had a bad gauge but all of them is really strange to me because I can't imagine that the entire panel is bad. But perhaps they all got fried at the same moment?

    A Gauge Question

I have a deal to buy a complete set of gauges out of a salvage GT. The seller and I have agreed on the price but all of the gauges are stopped presumably where the car was when it was in the accident. So the tach is reading 2000, oil pressure is about 60, engine temp is probably about 200 and...

    Any Ferrari F430 owners here?

I had a 430 and it was a good car. It was haunted by an electrical gremlin in the convertible top mechanism that left the top 1/2 open several times. I bought it new and drove it about 5000 miles before I traded it.

    Trailer Rental in Houston

Anyone know where I can rent a roll back trailer here in Houston? I looked at Uhaul and it will take a lot of 2 x 12's to get the car up on that trailer

Fed Ex Came Today, Project 321....

Got mine today and I noticed that I could install them on top of the existing sills. Anyone done that or should I go ahead and pull off the originals before I stick them in place. I assume that if I remove the originals the parts would sit a little better in the recess.

Dyno tune day with Torrie in Houston?

I may not be down there with the car but if any GT brothers want to have a sail on Galveston Bay while you are down there I am probably sailing over the weekend and the boat has plenty of room

    US Airways Hudson Jepp Plate

There is a book I saw a few years ago that had a compendium of funny approach plates. If that one were real it would be a perfect addition
