I contacted them and they do indeed have a "track event" policy. I talked to David Epringham there (of grand am cup fame). I will probably buy it. It's not cheap, but it would beat a coverage denial for some new policy language after you stuff the car into the wall or someone else "helps" you...

I don't know if it works or not yet, but this kit is really nicely done. Make sure you have a good set of AN wrenches available. If this kit's quality is any indication of the engineering found in the rest of the car, then life is good.

the manhattans are sounding like a better idea. I decided to do the oil cooler install first. But why is it that with 5 tool boxes I still don't have a thin 27mm wrench and or something that will allow me to tighten the oil cooler an adapters into the oil cooler? So I hit sears, harbor freight...

I'll do some more reasearch and check back with you guys. I was doing the oil cooler install -cooltech last night. I don't know how it works, but so far it is a thing of beauty. So far, this is a nice car to work on though I'd hate to have to work on the front of the motor. bb

Good advice above - also make sure your hands are really clean and free from oil and dirt. It will help eliminate fingerprints. A hair dryer can come in handy when you need to stretch the film or it's colder than you'd like in the garage.

FWIW - Got a bunch of wheels with tires in the garage. Got out the bathroom scale. I weighed 4 rear "lightweight" optional wheels -- 59.1 - 59.6 lbs each with the F1 Eagle (slightly used) mounted. The standard 6 spokes (I have 2) both weigh 61.8 lbs each with tire and balance weights. That's...
