    found this on ebay

#0507 also has a speedi-sleeve. So unless mine is the final build number that required the fix, probably can be found on everything inbetween, and perhaps some following. The trade off is the nicer A arms.:biggrin I also had seen this package on ebay yesterday and only wish . . . but as well as...

    2009 Current Mileage

I guess around 27,000, mostly street miles, but the most enjoyable were the 298 miles I put on while at VIR for a 2 day event last month. Orange Run Group Sunday session 3 (final full session, in 4 parts) 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqXeGjHoQpY 2...

What branch of the Armed Forces did you serve in?

Jeff must have dug out his ol' DD 214 to recall that much. The only time I saw Bob Hope was at a girlfriends College graduation ceremony up in N.H. way back in? That being said, NAVY, Aviation Fire Control, AIMD, IM3, W/C 650, CVA 59, USS Forrestal. Pete S.

    Virgina International Raceway in October!

Mike, the weather turned out better than the long range forecast had predicted. But it was still right on the edge, for me, being too cold; more power and less grip, and I watched the others and slowly improved my times; I hope. Great turnout, 6 owners, but only 3 FGT's. Looked like around 100...

    The Diffuser

Watching the Discovery Channel special "Rebuilding a Race Car Legend" explains the need for the diffusers. It was either that or a wing to keep the car from flipping at speed. It takes the place of the wing and for the most part is out of sight.

Trent is correct: finally dug out the old paperwork and took a look. 19" 16" 2 X 20"

    Heritage Roundel Sizes???

I think the clam shell is around 18", a bit smaller than the doors. At least that's what I had my sign guy put on mine. Pete S. The ford dealer can call it up on the computer and the sizes will be indicated.

    10,000 Mile Club

I,m with you there, Dan, the cars are most fun when driven, though they are also nice to just watch in the garage. Approaching 27,000 miles here, but nowhere near my buddy in the Northwest, Jeff (PL 510). Every mile is a blast, and those on the road courses even more fun. Keep having to purchase...

    Virgina International Raceway in October!

I'll work on my camera a bit and try and get behind you for a couple of flame-throwing laps. Or put Rick in the car to follow you as I doubt I belong in that group you are running with. See you there. Pete S.

    Virgina International Raceway in October!

Still a bit of time for a few more to sign on to the VIR event. We currently have 6 Ford GT owners attending, though 3 are bringing one of their other fine cars to this event. (White Group) 1. Phil - 1995 White Cobra R Coupe 2. Grover - 2004 Silver Mazda RX8 Coupe 3. Rex - Yellow Go-Kart 4...

    Jack stand type recommendation.

Can't help it; the blue pucks are generally made a bit heavier for stick handling practice. Pete S.

    Jack stand type recommendation.

Nothing wrong with the jack stands in the photo at the start of the thread. I use the hockey puck for jacking in the center, jackstands as shown, and the GT Savers with the car lift. Everything works, Pete S.

Who's car is this in Ohio?

I think Chris has the horseshoes on the rear quarter panels. Pete S.

    Pulley for sale: Like new

jax, did you remember to put the "stock tune" back into the hand held device before begining the Whipple change over. Typically they seem to work with only one car at a time, so the stock tune must be put back into your car with the upgraded tunes in the device before another car will be able...

Michigan FGT owners passing through the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia

Just curious how many FGT's you spotted and what colors you recall. I spoke with an owner from Michigan a few weeks back and he stated he was going to be passing through that area. Pete S.

    Stumbled on to these

Luke, nice video clips; makes me feel like I am standing still in comparison. As a matter of fact, GT Racer starts in about a minute, and I have caught the chassis 1033 that I styled mine after from time to time. Pete S.

    Virgina International Raceway in October!

Jamie, you, my friend, can bring anything you want. It is mostly Mustangs and Corvettes with this group; but there are always a good variety of cars, and why wouldn't you want to bring the FGT? If it is wanting to be faster around the track, not to worry, there is always something running...

    Virgina International Raceway in October!

The Ferrari bunch in this area used to have an couple of events in West VA, then the dealership was sold and the new owners seem to have no interest in track events. Have great fun in Texas and I will continue bringing up these east coast track days when I find them. Pete S.
