Who's car is this? GT on Google maps

Not mine. Wish it had been. Doesn't look like 33; looks more like the number 1.

    Gremlins

Mike is right, as always. The sensor that indicates "front bonnet closed" will cause the exact problem mentioned with the wipers. Pete S.

    sct

I suppose if you know what you are doing, yes. I would talk to Torrie with any questions. [email protected] Pete S.

    Looking for rear wheels

. . . and if that doesn't work, Torrie probably has them, and maybe the GT Guys have a set for sale. Pete S.

GT Guy's coming to Maryland/Virgina III

Well, I suppose I had best chime in here; as my good buddy John B. has started another GT GUY visit. First let me say for any planning to attend, if you haven’t done so yet, speak with John about these great billet aluminum pieces that have been created for our cars and are simply perfect...

A Word of Caution.... Stuck Throttle Body

I am certain the correct inspection of these filters has been made, I just want to add I have, in the past, found evidence of mice/rodents in that area of the car, as well as others. Just want you to check for "bite" marks. Great job staying relaxed. I had the same issue one day at a 1/4 mile...

    Control Arm Question Recall?

Going out on a limb here, but I believe those refered to as "These travelling Specialists" have answered the question in an earlier post on this thread. I am going to guess that these replacement nicely machined parts were assigned to each car needing replacements and was part of the "Tool Kit"...

    Pre Purchase Inspection

Could not agree more with Chip and all other posts to this thread. The GT Guys are not far from New York and are very easy to contact prior to purchase for an inspection. If you are purchasing a "mostly track car", and getting a real good deal; that is different than if you want to make certain...

    Overdriving Headlights

Simple adjustment; only up and down, no left and right. http://home.comcast.net/~skatesharpening/headlamp.htm All you do is pop the bonnet and use a #6 allen or bondus wrench. Takes about 10 seconds or so/ per side. Good luck. Pete S.

Let's Get Back On The Race Track!

I wish I was out there to join in the fun. It sounds similar to how Pocono is set up when they have track days threre, and maybe I can get a chance to go north a bit this year. My car must sit "track idle" for at least 2 more months of chilly weather. Post some photos and vids if you take them...

    Global Warming

Well, I watched the video . . . I really love this guy. Well, by following this “logic”, I might conclude that there was never proof that a Dinosaur was killed because it was exposed to radiation. Radiation is found everywhere in Nature. (Forgiveness requested from any that don’t believe our...

    Christmas Early Wednesday Night......

I sure hope you went far enough on the height thing to allow you to plant a helmet onto your head and still be able to sit upright for the track events. A couple inches shy of you in that department; we had to remove a bit of the seat foam for me to get a fairly good fit, and my helmet top does...

Shadowman "Happy Holiday and Merry Christmas"

Hopping in here with all the others, having shared many good experiences with Bill, from afar, as well as many others on the forum. To a guy trying to correct and maintain everything at home, Bill and others have been an enormous help; and I wish all members a great Christmas! Pete S.

So You want To Be A Rally Driver?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5NEnwp13g4 I shortened the above link into what I think is the correct one. Pete S.

Bob, was it the right or left side? I think right front, purely a guess though. Pete S.

    db of Stock Exhaust?

I went with the X-pipe for a short time. Part of the reason I went back to the stock muffler was easier communication with the passenger (s), ability to not only feel but hear the tire squeal; knowing when they were about to break loose cornering; and I enjoy the whine of the stock supercharger...

    Happy Birthday gtjoey !!!

Joey, Happy Birthday, Good Friend. I am looking forward to the next Carlisle event, the next Barn Event, and simply warmer weather. I took care of our buddy PL-510 Jeff, and recently finished putting the next variation of brake duct replacement parts on the car, though this is an early pre...

    found this on ebay

Mike that's old news. Had a small amount of transaxle fluid atop the engine covers every time I did an oil change: I did a whole thread on it somewhere in the gt tech section. A small weld by a competent welder and a new speedi sleeve, since we were in there, a new seal, and it's been dry as a...
