I was wasting my time on google maps yesterday and decided to get an aerial view of some tracks around the world. When I searched Laguna Seca, I noticed some cars on the track, which I hadn't noticed before. Right after what is called on the map as "Rainy curve" or as I know it as the twisty down hill part from video games, there is a red with white stripes GT there. One thing that stood out to me is that it has the Heritage number on the clam shell. Cant tell what the number is but its double digits. Heres a link to check it out.

Not mine.

Wish it had been. Doesn't look like 33; looks more like the number 1.

What is even cooler is if you click "user" the littel yellow guy on the scale, put him on the track and follow the race cars around the track on Google map link above

Nope - I don't have roundels. Could be when the press introduction was done, when Dan Gurney and Jackie Stewart were there. Otherwise, there was a track event held there last September, around the 12th.

Nonetheless, a red FGT with white stripes belongs at Laguna Seca!! :thumbsup (in the lead, of course)

I don't think it's a late model FGT. It doesn't appear to have the divided hood.

There are also some vents in the stripes on the rear clamshell near the roundel that aren't on late model FGTs.

Neat images. Thanks for posting.

I'm with Jason it looks like a old GT40 or kind of has the lines to me of a daytona coupe.
