Gas struts for NFGT doors

That's what I thought, they have not even installed them yet, they charged me that in parts to order them lol.
Let me know if I can borrow your old ones.

I have several sets of gas struts for NFGT doors if anyone needs some. We use the exact same units in a robotic application!
Just send me a pm.

If you have an alternate source other than Ford please share..🙏😚

I bought a set from NSXER, to have on the shelf for when I truly need them ( getting there but not quite there yet on the OEM's)

I will be shipping soon to those that have purchased from me. I am just waiting on the 13mm, OEM ball cup that Multimatic used. On my GT, I am using a nicer, stainless steel 13mm ball cup that is more difficult to install. I figured most owners would want the OEM ball ends. If you have ever removed a gas shock from a new GT door you know how heavy these doors are...replacing a shock is a 2 person job.

SOLD - Sadly, I just sold my Ford GT. I had recently purchased a set of struts from NSXER for my car, but since I traded in the car to a dealership, I didn't install the new struts since the old ones held up pretty decent still. So I have a set of these if someone else here can use them - they are still wrapped and unopened. I would sell them for $325 (less than I paid) and will cover Fedex shipping within the US.

I do it by myself. If you park your car under a support structure ( a car lift ) you can hook one end of a cam lock strap to the overhead structure. Open the door and attach the other hook thru the door latch hoop and cinch up the strap. It will hold the door in the upright position with no drama.. With the money you just saved on not paying a helper you can buy me a lunch.. lol.. Happy Motoring !! Brian
