GT GUYS have been known to do it in two to four hours max. Looks like their records are safe. Good luck, keep us posted. :)

Cimax, are you replacing with stock clutch or something else? There are a few threads here about clutch replacements.

Did you figure out how to pull the trans without removing the clamshell? I did an exhaust swap according to Shadowman's instructions without pulling it. The only aftermarket clutch I know of is spec. Turbo Joe's gang swear by it.

Pulling the clamshell is easy and makes a lot of repairs much easier, but to be safe you need 3 people and a lot of tape! 2 people to hold left and right sides and the 3rd to pull the hinge pins and later to line up the hinges and put the pins back in. I have seen the GT Guys do it with only 2 people, but they are pros, I wouldn't recommend it. It is harder to put it back on than to take it off. Lining up the hinges while being careful not to damage anything.

'Quick note on this: deburr/polish the pins while U have them out and put a little WD40 or the like on 'em B4U reinstall.

MUCHO easier to get the pins back in...

Stillen clutch for GT

During the California rally Stillen showed us a heavy-duty aftermarket clutch they were about to come out with. I don't know if they have it ready for sale yet but you might want to give them a call.

We are getting two different types of clutches made by AP. They are on the water right now and should be in our warehouse in the next few weeks. I don't have a price just yet.
