Now that I have had my car back for one week, and have had a chance to take it out of the garage with some sunshine, I wanted to take a moment and thank Rich and Denis for their professionalism repairing and modifying my Ford GT. The paint looks better than it did from the factory, the fitment is now precise (especially the clam shell), and it is also more reliable with the half shaft fix and trans-axle cooler kit.

If interested, I have pictures before::

This Forum is an outstanding resource for everything FGT and to those who did, thanks for pointing me in the right direction, for your used upgrades, and to Jason Heffner and Gary Almond.

DITTO ON THE KUDOS FOR THE GT GUYS!

Pete, if you need info on clearing the memory on the SCT unit, the Shadowman has the exact procedures down pat... Hope you transfered the tune I sold you without issues.

Wow! That was fast. Glad it's back in your hands :cheers

Cost?

What did that cost?

Like, what was my deductible?:willy

I appreciate your early direction toward that end, DBK. :thumbsup Nothing against my local dealer, but it's not my car I want as their learning curve. I think once the work actually was allowed to begin, total time was no more than 3 or 4 weeks. That's incredible. I could not be more satisfied with the finished product. Now if I can keep it pointed in the right direction . . .:willy

How did the wreck happen?

The 'GT Guys' (Rich & Denis) are the only ones that I trust and have full confidence in when it comes to wrenching on my car. They are two mighty fine people in my book. :wink

No, What was the total cost to do that much restoration? Not what you had to pay out of pocket.
