From my initial meet up in Palm Springs with PeteK and Jeff and Ryan Larson. Fuel and lunch stop in Blythe. And one from my trip back through Palm Springs - for the GULF livery fans.

Couple more from the last day/night. Thanks to all for a great trip.

pretty slim.
I need to get new tires and put them on my spare set of base wheels. I have the optional wheels on, but also have a set of the base wheels that I haven't used. I think someone (Pete?) commented that the optional wheel design is pretty common, but the base is more unique. I think it is time to put them on.

My 2006 Ford GT came with 2 options, painted red calipers and BBS forged wheels. I bought a set of standard wheels feeling that someday, it would be fun to run the standard wheels, since it seemed most cars had the optional wheels, if not all four dealer options.

A few years back, I decided it was time to run the standard wheels. Gives a more classic look I think. It's nice to have the option to switch. Often when I run through a set of rubber, I will swap to the other wheels, and I will likely go to the forged wheels at my next tire swap.

JaxGT is lucky the door/roof has a little extra room - it looks like just enough to clear the top of his head! :ROFLMAO:

JAX must have lowered his seat, otherwise I don't see how he can fit in there!

Getting a chance to ride in the MKIV blew our minds! My son Hayes talked about it nearly all the way home to Kansas!

Although I have met him on several occasions (at my home shop as well), having Tim (Shmee150) attend was awesome and it was a pleasure to talk with him again...and ask him a ton of questions :)
