The Final Countdown

Couldn’t sleep last night, so instead of counting sheep, I counted how many different editions were released for the new GT:
Base
66 Heritage
Lightweight
67 Heritage
Carbon
Mk II
68 Heritage
69 Heritage
Ken Miles
Liquid Carbon
Studio Collection
‘64 Prototype
Alan Mann
Holman Moody
GTLM
MK IV

This excludes 1 off liveries like the 3 red white and blue GTs, and Raj’s. I didn’t realize there were so many. Did I miss any?
The 2016 -2017 "light weight" was I believe called Competition. This was the one with out electronics AC, and some of the bits that wound up in the Carbon Series, like the lexan rear window. This package ended when the federally mandated back up camera went into effect.

That’s right.

What a run this has been. Thank you all for allowing a fan of the car (and of GT40s & the 2005-2006 GT) to follow along and live vicariously through everyone's amazing journeys. Very thankful that I have a few friends who own the new car, gotten rides in them, and even attended a delivery (when I worked at the dealership one was done through). Thank you all from a lifelong car guy.

What I would love to eventually find out is how many of the 1350 cars were done with ECP. Would be amazing to know all the different colors that were used for the cars that had this option.

I'll get the final this week but out of the first 1,000 cars 167 were done in ECP. At least 2 of those were repainted in different colors by the owners after the fact.

Am I the only one that hears the song by Europe every time this thread shows up?

It would be awesome to have a quality print of all the different editions together.

Thank you Dave. One question if I could? Is Multimatic willing to repaint a car if someone picks up a pre-owned car from say, BaT and wants it redone in a color they want the car to be? Just curious if that's an option.

Yeah, they will.

From Raj speaking at Rally 10 until yesterday totally agree with Special K. We were very fortunate to be included in this journey.
Thanks DBK.

A BIG thanks to DBK who has done so much for us over many years. Time is a precious commodity, and he has given so much of it to this group.

Received this message last night while having dinner with my Sweet Sue from Bernardo Martinez who headed up the Delivery Specialist Group. What a group of guys that I had the opportunity to see on many delivery’s in Texas. Thank You Dave For Allowing Me To Be A Part Of This Special Ownership and Experience in My Life! Now The Next Chapter Opens And Forward We Move As Owners Of The Great Ford GT. Tomy & Sue Hamon
