Ford GT Rally XIII pics

Seeing P1075 at the track was a great surprise and an over-the-top moment at an already stellar Rally. The Real Deal…..

Thank you Dave, Chip and everyone else who made this Rally happen. More great memories in the jar.

Gentlemen,

These were 5 of the best days I’ve ever lived. At my Rally to the Rally party on Saturday we served 165 people and kept both bartenders hopping. Virtually every GT showed up at our Cars & Coffee at Fourtillfour Sunday morning. The opening night cocktail party at OTTO CAR CLUB, Monday Concours on the grass at Fountain Hills, the rally run to Tortilla Flats, and a spectacular dinner back at the hotel. Tuesday road rally to Payson for lunch and then on through Pine, Cottonwood, and up into the 140 year old mining town of Jerome on some killer roads. At APEX Motorsports Park on Wednesday my new GT ran flawlessly AND I got to go for a ride on the track in a new Mk II and experience a bit of its mind bending road holding. And then out in to the middle of nowhere for dinner, music, cocktails and camp fires in beautiful green desert north of Scottsdale where I use to camp and hunt over 50 years ago. Thank you to the 95 owners, Multimatic & Ford executives, Concierge Team, and everyone else who made the scene at Rally 13! You were there, not square.

Chip

I went back and looked at this pic. 82 cars.
57 look like NFGTs (bigger front windshield, distinctive rear design with smaller rear window) There was one Mk I replica and 24 05/06 cars. Someone else car separate out the colors 😂

Lyle! Where’s his large band?
Poor donkey forced to serve light beer!

Who drove 1075?

Somebody left the keys to a ‘17 Heritage lying around. If you’re missing one I’m driving back to Texas.

Sinovac - Do you happen to know if that last truck was a team driver, like husband / wife?

Just trying to guesstimate an ETA.

Who says the NFGT has no luggage space? You have your choice. (1) Passenger OR (2) Luggage.

I knew I should have brought my Coyote to get groomed!

Unloaded and back in So Cal after a smooth drive. For those with OCD, the painted steel front silhouette is rested carefully on the tire edge. Midnite Blue - I have a Rally Poster for you from the Forum, since you were called away.

For the rallies I love being there a day early and watching all the cars and friends come into town. Being the last one out of town is always the hardest part. It’s like we don’t want it to end!I always find it kind of sad really. We take over for three or four days and then disappear. Although I know Dbk is always relieved that it’s over. As I know first hand how much work he puts into pulling these events off. He make sure every car gets unloaded and loaded safely which is only a small part of what he does .My hats off to Dbk and Chip as always!!!!
I look forward to seeing you guys at the next rally!
My very best regards
Ron AKA Roketman

Heading home first stop Sodona for a few days. Sad to leave the rally to next year.20211104_125538.jpg20211104_122925.jpg

I’m pretty sure our truck has 1 driver.

You can’t catch me I’m the gingerbread man. Had my first taste of the Mk II and 5 great sessions on the track in my yellow new GT.
