A 2004 Carrera GT sold for $1.31M last week, and a 300SL convertible sold there in July for $1.4M.

True

$5,000 is paid by the buyer. Seller's fees are predetermined based on which white glove service you select

1600 mile NFGT sold for 885k at BAT. Seems like it undersold. Why though? Due to stock market crash today and people got sheepish? Or just more supply due to 2 year restriction getting off?

I'd guess stock market today, cuz today's car with 1,600 miles vs last week's 573 (https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2017-ford-gt-4/) didn't seem enough to devalue it by ~$90k (if any). Plus, MSRP on last week's was $8k less, and it's a year older :)

I think ya just never know. Guy today got a bargain.

That must be it. Stock market was crashing and made some people skittish. The guy today definitely got lucky.

Stock market was down 1% ish?

That's a crash?

Once the general public begins to believe that everything only goes up all the time, then maybe yes.

4% off from the high. Pretty significant i think.

Prob not the 1% but the -800 points during the day ... plus the 4% off the all-time high.

Hmm, yeah, it's higher than CBS news reported on my way home from work, but I now read 1.78%

I guess if we're comparing to all time high......

It was a slow steady rise but now we're seeing a slow decline. Last time we had one it went on for a long time

The value only matters to my family after I’m buried! In the meantime Im driving a wonderful car as much as possible!

My experience with Bonhams was that fees are highly negotiable. I ended up paying 5% on my Merlin-Rolls and had a very enjoyable experience (my first ever auction deal), they were great. I actually put my 19 Lightweight on BAT but they dicked me around with months of not posting it and I ended up selling privately..

Not enough cars are posted for sale on this site. With the number of vehicles owned there should be interesting stuff coming up all the time.

When I was searching form my car in early 2019 I was pretty frustrated at the lack of cars for sale here. There were a couple listed here for sure, but I had to use other sources to find what I was looking for.

QSS

I had a different experience in late 2019 and early 2020.....owners were pitching me cars all the time when all I had was a wanted thread, one of which I bought.

The largest percent of active forum users are not sellers.

Silver car just sold for 378k inc premium. Is silver car just not popular?

Three owners, tri color panels and what ever else a PPI would bring out. Still pretty strong considering.

The 2005 Quicksilver is the least produced “factory approved’ color. It also shows the lines of the car the best….
