Ford vs Ferrari movie

I saw it for a second time today with a car bud of mine. When I saw it last Saturday at 3:20pm in IMAX the theater was about 1/4 full. I figured that was about right for a 60's car movie. Today at a 3:30 showing (no IMAX this time) and the theater was over 1/2 full.

I think the word is out on how good a show it is.

Great movie, but some of the Passing antics Really. Going 200mph down the straight and looking at the driver in the car you are passing. Changing down and then accelerating to pass. I could go on. I know its a movie but lets see some realism

My favourite scene - Ken Miles steps out of his hotel the night before the race and strolls down to the pits for a chat with Shelby. His hotel is next to the Cathedral, which is 6-8 miles away from the pits.......I could add more, but even with all the bloopers I’ve enjoyed it both times.

I took my company to the movie Friday. Even those that thought, omg we have to see a car movie, enjoyed it. Everyone said the last GT in the movie sounded just like mine (or Ed’s).

I have not seen the movie yet but I did see that worthless review.
About what you'd expect from a
Doomberg contributor.
Not yet time to replace this phone,
but I do remember how Elvis would sometimes shoot his television.

Finally saw it today......It did not lessen my fever to buy a GT.

I say yes!

Agree it was a fun movie to watch and Christian Bale did an incredible job. I know Matt Damon does not resemble C Shelby much, but he is one of my favorite actors. There were several scenes of questionable accuracy, but overall was still a great movie IMO. I plan to buy the DVD when it comes out to watch again.

I'm going to check out this movie this weekend. Looks good.

Adam Carolla at the Shelby American Collection with Ken Miles car. Dave Murray is one of the owners of the museum. The car is owned by the Miller family. Last time I was there in September there were 6 (maybe 7?) original GT40s there.

Saw the movie tonight. It was much better than I was expecting.

Weeks after opening, The theater was full and I was pleasantly surprised to see quite a few young people in the crowd.

Just saw the movie again. I'm pleased to report that it's still good!

We're down to 1 theater in Westchester County, and only 2 showings per day. But the theater was completely full, which was great.

I have a nephew that works at a movie theater.
For Christmas I was surprised with both versions of the movie posters unused.
They had already framed one of them for me.Movie Poster.JPG

My daughters boyfriend worked a couple of shifts in the local theater in Banff, Alberta over the holidays. He got the same poster after they were finished with it and then he gave it to me for Christmas.

What a good kid.
