First and foremost a BIG THANK YOU to the team at Multimatic and our concierge at Ford for getting us samples of the various shades of blue we wanted to see.

So, here goes.... we are down to the final 2 picks and would love any feedback.

On the left is Ford's Lightning Blue on the right is Ferrari's Blu Elettrico. We have a Ford vs. Ferrari debate ongoing, kinda fitting with the movie release this week.

We are getting a Carbon Series, so keep that in mind. We are going to also keep the original Carbon Series interior and will likely go with silver calipers, although there is a strong push for the red calipers.

Thanks for any feedback, exciting times for sure!

why would you want to continually explain to all your friends and family and car enthusiasts that your car was mistakenly painted with a Ferrari paint.?
so, you know my answer....!!

I agree with Andy. Especially when the two colors are SO close, anyway- I would want to stick with a Ford color. Just a Ford pride thing, I guess.

I can't tell the difference from the photo. Go Ford!

Me neither but the camera and light make a difference, so what looks like a wash in a small sample could be big in daylight in real life. Hard to call... Can you find a F-car in the color and compare it to the samples?

Before Thunder! Lightning Blue it is for me. Thanks for including us in your journey.

Lightning with those silver calipers! Or even the whole silver accent pack!

Send me the $30,000.... Liquid Blue side by side for Another comparison

Ford Lighting Blue for the GT and Red for the Ferrari.

I went with a FORD color when there were so many close shades from other manufacturers available to pick from. If Lightning Blue has already been selected by someone else then I would look for a unique color. We should all STOP copying already selected extended palette colors. Its pretty sad that some can't come up with an "original" color for their "custom" Ford GT.

☝️What Fred said. It’s easy to obsess over choices. You’ve narrowed it down to a couple, pick one. They will both look good. There is no wrong answer. If going ECP then make it unique. As for the calipers, the same logic applies and it will be easy to change that color on your own if you decide. Once I locked my choices in, I have not looked back and I don’t think you will either.

Those colors are very different. I much prefer the Ferrari color. It's way more blue, and the name is appropriate.

Lightning Blue has a lot of green in it.

I would go with the Ferrari color... looks great on the photos DBK posted

Ferrari color

I saw the Ferrari blue last night and it was spectacular.

As has been stated many times in the past... get exactly what YOU want and never regret it!😀

Ford Blue looks deeper and richer. If you're going to go with a non-Ford color, then consider Ferrari Blue Abu Dhabi to make it 1 of 1, but I'd still have a hard time going with non Ford color on an iconic Ford model.

Both colors look great. The Ford blue appears a tiny bit lighter in the picture. If it were me, I would go with the Ford color for the reasons others stated above. But, your car - your choice!! Enjoy!!!!
