We are two weeks away from our drive to the Gilmore Museum! Plan is to be at meet at my house at 8:30am. I will have the Tim Horton's coffee and donuts/muffins ready. We will then leave around 9:30 or so for the museum. It is about a 2 hour drive. There will be parking for us by the Lincoln showroom. We can then go through some of the museum when we get there and then have some lunch. After lunch we can go through the rest of the museum. Plan is people can go through it at their own pace after lunch. I really hope to have a nice crowd of peeps! This is a great opportunity to take your GT for a nice drive!

Please respond to this thread on who is going. :)

So far i have:

1. My dad and myself with both GT's (along with Ian Murphy and Joe Sicoli)

Wow, how cool. Just Gorgeous.

Looks like a fun group, and Gilmore a great venue! Learned to drive a Ford Model T there!

I saw that on their website. Very cool. I’ve never been there and would like to go. Is there anything else you recommend?

Spartan: You beat me to the racing livery color scheme! (if I ever get an allocation, that is). Looks great!

Happy to oblige, theres no shortage of auto themed things to do. The Model T driving program at Gilmore is a blast, but you typically need to make reservations far in advance, it is very popular.

Are you planning on a trip up here soon? There are a multitude of interesting/relevant venues depending upon the time of year. Highly recommend the Woodward Dream Cruise in August as a central event to plan around if you’ve never done it.

Fantastic day trip and a spectacular museum. Many Thanks to Kevin for organizing. We ignored the silly sign on the entrance to the infield :)

What a great drive and day! Thanks a lot everyone for coming along! Really appreciate it. Makes you realize we need to do things like this more than once a year. It is also nice to take these cars out for longer than just a drive to a car show. We got to stretch the legs a bit with some high speed highway runs. These cars beg to be driven fast! Thanks again to all, we had a great time hosting and we will DEFINITELY be doing another one!

Kevin, Ian and Joe
