GTG 2017 Ford GT Aero Tunnel Screen Kit

I use a shop vacuum and have had trouble with one of the nuts in the body and replaced it with a lager hex screw in its place. I from time to time have to use a spray can of black paint to touch the bottom edge of the screens due to gravel nicks. It is unbelievable how much rocks, gravel and debris the screen catches,even on a clean road. I repeat the screens are a MUST!!!!
 
I use my electric leaf blower to blow back to front before I go into the garage. Quick, clean, simple.

I guess that will require that I remove my Gorilla Tape that was installed at delivery to 'close off ' a major portion of the air inlet near the front Lower Control arms. Or did you guys leave it...?

Here’s what the screens pick up even on clean streets. On a gravel road, I don’t even want to think of it!

If you're only going to use clear bra, I would at a minimum double the "chute" area both on the exposed bottom and the painted portion of the lower door, and possibly even triple it. I doubled about 18" back of the opening on top and bottom.
 
No, not enough. Michelin tires are VERY STICKY and pick up everything and at Speed debree flys through the tube and down and under your doors. Dust and dirt will still cover the underneath portions of your doors during normal driving. The more protection you have the better. You CAN’T DO TOO MUCH!

I'm interested in a set too. My new GT will be here within a week so I'm starting to prep for the spring time drives.

The link posted was my first click... BUT when I tried it this morning it said "SOLD OUT". Now it seems the site was updated and parts are back in-stock as of 1/8/2018 :biggrin

-- if you get the vehicle soon in SE Michigan , You will want to install these before driving .
I suspect the road slush , ice and salt chunks will ''pack up'' behind the gravel screens very quickly. :):)

I just talked to Rich and he got some more complete so I added them to inventory. I should have 6 more available and will pick them up tomorrow to ship out.

Heating up here on the East Coast too. We got above freezing yesterday for the first time in 2 weeks.:wink
