I was just wondering.. for any of you who received the "Congratulations Letter" for the first two years... first 500 vehicles...
Have you received ANY type of contact from you Ford GT Concierge or other FGT person saying :

'hello, we are still here'
or
'Congratulations , we will contact you soon.'
or
'We have not forgotten about you, don't worry'
or
'your color and order package will be issued by October 15'?
or....

Just wondering...

You mean beyond the order packet, gift, and confirmation of GT delivery on November 17th?

:rofl

Yes, I'm kidding. I've heard nothing, which is normal. I think.

But I'm a bad judge of normal.

I sent them an email and I got a reply. Be patient the package is coming soon. ..

Too much suspense ….the wait isn't over.

Stormcat did you ask them to define soon?

You had me going for about 2 minutes. !
Thanks for clarifying.
I am Being Patient.
Think I will take the 2006 GT out for a trip down Woodward this evening... Sunny here in Detroit..

Andy, the GM at my chosen delivery dealership texted me Thursday asking if they could be of any help, but I think they know less than we do.

Haven't heard a peep.

They said my car was going to be delivered in October :)

Cricket sounds in Houston, but it's all part of the fun!

Nada!

Frank, I'm curious on how Ford is tying up your ownership obligations. There was mention of a "First right of refusal". anything you can share with me?

I received a large somewhat heavy notebook sized box from Campbell Marketing on behalf of Ford Performance today!

Could this be the concierge welcome kit? If I knew how to attach an image here I would...

Frank

We were told at Rally ll in Austin---45 days.

So early November huh? Longest. 45 days. Ever.

Turns out it was a really well done GT350R Owners Supplement marketing package.

Kudos to Raj Nair, Dave Pericak, Edsel Ford, Henry Ford III and the entire GT350 Ford Performance team for a job exceptionally well done!

Thanks, Frank

Some say no news is good news

Agreed. Dealers are clueless. I picked up my new GT350R from a four-store Ford group in New Jersey. They were playing video clips showing the new Ford GT throughout the store, but nobody including management even knew what the car was. One sales guy thought it was a Ferrari!

Missed opportunity Tim. You should have told him it was an "F" car. Then again, Ford does have a few of those: F150, Flex, Focus, Fiesta, Fusion, and it may have proven too confusing.

Most sales people don't care about a vehicle that they will never sell or probably see unless they go to a car show. I am sure they are much more interested in Fusion, Mustang and F-150. They make a living selling cars not just talking about them.
