Where do you prefer to look when searching for a FGT?

I am thinking that a pp over a dealer will give more room for negotiations. Might also take longer to find a pp car than one at a dealer.
 
It took me and a friend about 6 months to find a private party (pp) FGT to buy. They come up for sale rarely on ebay and this site compared to dealer offerings. Along with the dealers there are many brokers out there that search for pp cars and will be on a pp car long before you do. Could be better to buy dealer car if you don't want to wait 6 months or more. If you do find a good pp car you must act fast and have a PPI done for piece of mind.

Good info, thanks guys. I will be looking for black with stripes and less than 10K, not a garage queen. I intend to drive the car. I realize this will take time, and I am okay with that, what's the rush anyway.

Now that the decision is made, every day without a FGT is 24 hours less of the fun/enjoyment you will have!
