New Mclaren 675 LT

Tire shredder without nannies. Kind of like McGowan at NOLA with Thugboat's GT500. About three laps and tires down to cords.

Oh I can't wait. The anticipation is killing me. Bring on several sets of shredded Trofeo Rs.

I think it is awesome that they give you the option of running it in a digital version of analog mode. In my last Bondurant class I had run 1/2 day with all the nannies on and asked the instructor if we could turn them off. He said "you haven't already?" Finally, I was driving the car instead of just observing it.

Car looks increasingly awesome. I turned down an allocation I was offered, regretting it some now ....

Ditto, but P14 isn't too far off, and of course we can always live in hope of a NFGT!

Car looks awesome being beaten on. I also really like the sound. I do have to question who thought it would be a good idea to spec a test car in Napier Green with Orange seats.

Seems like the McLife people are saying there are strong indications there will be a spider, despite the repeated "coupe only" assurances.

I would be really pissed if I spent $400k on a "limited" edition coupe (supposedly the only model they were making), and they then released a spider, after saying they werent going to.

Definitely will be a spider. When it comes to keeping promises about production numbers, McLaren have a terrible reputation as far as I'm concerned - I remember all the stuff they told me before the 12c came out that never came to pass, and this partly influenced my decision not to go for the 675 LT. However, despite my love/hate feelings about the brand, I'm glad that McLaren is finally getting some good press

Similar reason I didnt order one. Was afraid the values would tank.

Hoping they've matured as a company. My guess the 675 will hold its value. I'm not banking on my retirement owning it. Hope the miles come free and easy. Really looking forward to this one.

Sportauto weighed at 3,095 lbs 90% fuel.

First U.S customer weighed his at 3,103 lbs topped off.

Light, but more than I was expecting.

Heavier than a certain Fab Ford?

Heard of a few folks taking delivery that said the 675LT was pretty amazing.
Unfortunately, some buyers are quite pissed at McLaren.
I guess McLaren changed their mind - instead of building only 500 coupes as 'promised', they are now building an additional 500 spiders.

Classic McLaren marketing. They are complete whores and will do anything to move product. 500 coupes plus now another 500 spiders, some coupe owners are talking about a class action suit. McLaren push out huge varieties of their cars, all kinds of funky special editions. I'm waiting on the 650s Senna, or Ron editions next, sort of like the old Mustang variants back in the 60s, just a cynical way to suck in more punters.

Maybe Ford will screw the first 1000 buyers of the new FGT and announce they are making 500 more!!!! We can only hope!!!

I hope someday I can provide everyone with a nice comparison between the 2 cars [emoji6]. Hope Ford helps me out on this one [emoji3] (hint hint). My 675 is at the port waiting to clear customs.

Happy holidays Rob! I'm here to provide logistical support on the delivery if needed :)
