The stripes look too wide for the car. Have we seen other striped cars or is this an optical illusion?

red doesn't do it for me. Maybe a deeper, burgundy metallic.
Blue and silver are awesome!

I think if they were 3-4" wide separated by 3/4-1" it would look great to me - similar to Dan Gurney's '66 (red & blue) GT40s -

I always like to see the race cars during and just after the race. They look like a mudder. Beauty is before and after the race.
