Ford GT Celebration at the 2015 Carlisle Ford Nationals


david that display that year was awesom of all the new and old CJ cars. I had just got my 2008 drag car that year. Carlisle knows how to put on a show for sure! I remember getting my butt kicked on Telegraph Rd. here in Michigan when I had my built Shelby GT350 and 2 diferent 69 Mustangs with goofy little hood scoops kicked me hard. I was thinking, wow those are the strongest running 390 Mustang GTs I had ever seen. Hadn't even heard of a 68 1/2 CJ at the time. I guess I learned the hard way! Lance and the crew will put on a spectacular show for sure with the 10th anniversary of the GT. can't wait to meet you all. should be a blast!

Scott, Yes in 2008 I had two 68 1/2 cars there. My convert, 1 of 34 made and my last 68 CJ made. Ford motor company, Corporate car. I hope to be able to do the cruise on Saturday but might be stuck in the building. Will be a great time either way. Hope to meet you and many other GT forum friends.

Anybody else driving up US81 to Carlisle on Thursday of that week?
 
I wanted to update everyone on upcoming Carlisle Ford Nationals. We've got a lot of incredible Ford GT's, real deal GT40's and plenty of incredible activities lined up. I'll share everything as we move forward.

Below is a sticker that we made up for the occasion that will be going out with each registration.

We will be coming up from Florida Wednesday to Thursday on 81. Two GTs ( in trailers though).

I live just off 220, 10 miles south of the Virginia border (near Martinsville) and plan on driving the GT up with my wife in the chase SUV on Thursday.
I'm from Jax, Gainesville, P'cola...
Let's keep communicating as it gets closer in case you need a stay-over or we can go up in section/division (2 plane or 4 plane formation).
