Talked to Chip Foose today at the million dollar breakfast, Tustin. He has a tungsten GT he is going to give the Foose treatment. I told him about the Forum and the wealth of information, not that he needs it, but you never know. The man is a total gentleman and I hope he becomes a forum member.

I saw Chip Foose and Barry MeQuiar at Irvine Cars & Coffee this last Saturday. Chip's Tungsten FGT has only 1500 miles or so on it. I asked to open the clam shell with him and he obliged me. His car is all stock down to the original Goodyears. I did get a chance to talk with him and he plans to make his own A-arms to have spin-off wheels. Also talked about rear bumper modification. Seemed like a personalble guy even when I was interupted by some guy trying to show off his work to Chip on his Iphone. Spoke with Barry and he remembered doing the FGT factory tour for Car Crazy and said he has an FGT. Also stated that he was very impressed at the build effort that went into our cars. Even caught Jay Leno's show while in LA and was hoping to see his new Mclaren P1 but he was driving new Mercedes SLS.

Yes, his wife knows his tastes. Interesting how he hasn't modified the Tungsten. Guess he sees the perfection in it's colors.

Color is a personal choise but all colors of the FGT look good to me. I can tell you this though that his wife choose the tungsten and my girl friend wanting me to buy a tungsten because she thought it was a richer looking color. Appears the tungsten is the feminine color of choice LOL.
