I think those are the old ones. HRE still has Carbon wheels listed as coming soon, but it's not longer that style. I didn't even realize Dymag was still in business, but it looks like someone took up the business after it went bust a while back. CF wheels are a nice concept, but personally, after seeing some of the wheel mishaps, I'd pass. Something about the mixing of materials of different strength seems dicey.

EEK!

(plus, that is a TON of cash for a wheel)

Hoosier tire, high HP, Carbon Wheel...........ouch... I will pass... as Dave says "EEK!"

Looks like the wheel spokes were just glued onto the rim. Undisturbed fabric pattern where they broke off.

Great sale price though. Only £17 over MSRP! haha.

Looks to me like the spokes were attached with a faster to the stepped lip as they all seem to have rotated at that point. What ever the method, it was was not strong enough.

HRE is coming out with a new Carbon barreled wheel.

:thumbsup BBS FI's (Forged Individual) Yes Sir!

What are the specs on the BBS? Are you running them with stock brakes and hubs?

Whoops, I thought they were F1 but I think I was thinking the right wheel.
