This was my first time on the track with GT, this was my 2nd session. This was the Carrol Shelby 50th bash in Vegas at Spring Mountain. Those were two 2011 Gt350's I was running with. Great time, learned a lot:

If one of the new 350s has a tx plate of GT350R it is my buddy Warren. They are doing Terlingua this fall. Carrol is supposed to be there also.
 
Wow, that's cool! Love it. How did they decide who got to run with whom? Besides the weather I got spooked about the groupings of the cars and didn't want to have mine out with a bunch of yahoos.


I'm also positive I would not fit in the car with a helmet. My baseball cap hits the padding on the top.
 
No, one was from Pennsylvania and from CA. There were 13 of those 2011 GT 350's there though, only 215 made I believe.

They ran groups based on experience and had a good tech inspection and driveRs meeting each morning. Passing only on the left and only in the straight aways. Pretty organized and well run, you gotta do it, it's a blast....
 
Try getting into a Viper @ 6'5". I'm 6'2" and I would not fit with a helmet - talk about tiny. My GT has enough room for a party in it by comparison.

Are passing rules set at the track? At my class it was passing on the right (with the passed car following the line) and only with a wave by.

Passing with wave by from car in front, car in front was to move to the right on the straight and let the passing car keep the line.
 
How is your camera mounted? Suction cup?
 
Yeah, we used a suction cup on the inside glass and I alos had one near the rear tire in another video. It withstood a 140 mph hanging outside the car....

How did the Bridgestone's work for you?
What pressure did you end up using?
 
Bridgestones were awesome. I ran 31psi up front and 30psi in the rear and they stuck like glue. Even under acceleration out of corners in 2nd gear it was hard to break it loose. I have Hefner pulley and tune.
