Has anyone here had any experience or does anyone here own a Pro Park lift
I am hearing good things about these lifts

I would also like to know if their rolling jack system will work on our GTs

Please take a look at the links below

I would also be interested in any other reccomendations for lift manufactures , preferably ones that are either in Canada or will ship to Canada and do install

do a search, we have talked about this alot.

You might consider a search. This has been "discussed" several times here already.

I really like BendPak products. I have the HDS-14. Here is a link to a reseller and some of the BendPak lifts. http://www.gesusa.com/Four-Post-Lifts-s/21.htm

FYI - The bridge on the Directlift unit looks kind of cheesy, IMO.

if you want one nice lift get a backyard buddy. It just works perfectly.

Rob, Babco tools (right there in Vancouver) is the Canadian distributor for Bendpak. On recommendations from Mike (MADinNC) and Kendall (Nota4re), I got a Bendpak and love it. Don't know who else is in Canada, but probably any of them will deliver.

Bought 3 of bendpaks lifts last fall. I asked specifically if they were made in China They answered overseas When I received them HDX9 they have a sticker made in China. Talked to Bruce (management guy?) and they are sorry for miscommunication but they are still made in Chinaland. Want to buy 3 more but don't know if it will be bendpak. Might be specialty lifts like my other 3 lifts made in Alberta

I am in Alberta and have 1 Backyard Buddy which I've owned for around 8 yrs and 3 lifts from Specialty Auto Group that are manufactured here in Ab (at least they were when I bought mine several yrs ago.) They have all been trouble free; the B Buddy has seen the most use : probably been cycled several hundred times whereas the Spec Autos are used primarily for storage. I would also add that the Spec Auto owner was a real pleasure to deal with. I set up my own lifts but he delivered the last one personally and stuck around to help set it up and b.s. for a bit...nice guy:thumbsup

I have the Propark 9+ in my garage...it's a very good unit and I've had no issues, but don't believe their crap about it being 220V compatible; it's not. They lied to me about that and by the time it came in, they changed their story. You can see a bit of it here --

I have two of the Pro Park 7's - had 'em for 7 years - no problems.

I have the pro park 8 standard. It is a tight fit with both rear tires hanging over the outside edges of the runways slightly.

Limited space in my garage - I need one for work and one for storage!

KMC I thought you had one for your GT and one for your BOSS 302!

I have a number of four post Bend Pak lifts and the older ones(five to six years) are fantastic. But, the ones purchased in the past three years that were made in China are JUNK! I have had to replace the motors and pumps at a cost of $900 plus per lift. When I called Bend Pak, they were zero support and could care less that I was having problems with their product.

Decide for yourself?

I just got the Dannmar 7x, the GT fits perfectly. From the reading I've done there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of difference in the current list of lifts. The reason I went with Dannmar was you had Costco to back it up.

I totally agree Chinamade junk is of a lesser Quality and will not buy another Plus Babco in Canada ( only distributor) could care less with issues and are deceptive in their advertising and also their salesperson was not HONEST as to the origin of lifts they sell. Call them and you will soon understand. ASK if they are made in China? 1 800 661 5313 ALL Ranger equip is also made overseas CHINA to be EXACT

The BOSS sits on top of the FGT on one of the lifts - my SHELBY usually sits on the other lift - unless I need to use it to work on something. The place is a mess as my youngest son uses it to work on his stuff also.

Sounds like alot of wholesome activity to me!

Believe it or not, like you I have a 2007 Grabber Orange GT 500...but my BOSS is White and GT Blue. The six of them would be a good picture nonetheless!
