I just received word from the Producer that Battle of the Supercars episode with my Ford GT vs. Lambo Gallardo is airing Thursday, September 9 @ 10pm ET.

Here's are the details about the cars, drives and mods:
JOYRIDE's Ford GT
Driver: Tanner Foust
Mods: Pulley & Tune, Stillen XPipe.
Tires: Hoosier R6's

Tecnocraft Gallardo
Driver: Paul Tracy
Mods: EXTENSIVE weight reduction. Told it is 300 lbs. lighter than a Superlaggera. It has completely redesigned, CF airbox and custom headers/exhaust.
Tires: Michelin Sport Cups.

The following were the "battles", in addition to open road driving:
1. 0-100-0
2. 60-130
3. "Rolling Mile"
4. Timed Track

All times and mph's were verified using a VBox in each car.

Any FGTForum members are welcome for a "Viewing Party" at my home that evening starting at 6pm. I will provide a "light dinner", drinks and cocktails (via the Red Velvet Lounge). Please RSVP via this thread or PM me.

Can't wait! Emailed myself a reminder to calendar the recording since Dish doesn't go out that far.
 
Wish I lived closer ,I would love to take you up on your offer free diner,GT talk and a good show. What more could a guy ask for.

I've been DVRing the show over the past few weeks and the episode that airs is not matching the description on Info from Dish Network or the one listed on their web site. It looks like their schedule is pretty messed up.

UPDATE: Just confirmed with the BOTS Producer that the show WILL AIR Thursday, Sept 9!

So...for all Phoenix area GT owners...the party is 'back on' at my place. Food, drinks, etc...will be available. I'll try to put together a "behind the scenes" video we can watch after the episode finishes. There's some really great "banter" between Tanner, Paul and Lee Reherman during the filming of these episodes.
 
Will have DVR set for the occasion.:banana
 
Looking forward to it with great expectations after seeing the photo w/Tracy as a cone head!!
 
Don't forget guys...tomorrow night you'll see the Ford GT outperform the Gallardo - hands down.

And for those in the PHX area that want to come to the viewing party at my 'casa' - please let me know. We're at about 25 people and approx. 6+ GT owners.

I wouldn't waste the bandwith here, but i don't have your #. Should i get a sitter, or bring the 2 kids. they might have fun with yours, but then again yours might not be there!

I was also curious from the time I initialy read this thread why they did not team the FORD GT up against the Lambo Murci , I always thought the GT would out perform the Gallardo and based on your latest post I dont think I am far off , even if I have not seen the episode

Is it not a fair assumption that the GT could hold its own if not out perform the Murci , just a question
 
I set my DVR at lunch today. I noticed it was about the Ford GT500 :bang vs the Lambo Murci.

Did Tanner really leave it in third for that 60-130? Sad. That would have been a MUCH bigger ass whooping using 2nd. Either way, not a surprise, Gallardos have never been that fast. Cool to see the Joyride GT whoop it's ass on national TV.
