Long Time Viper Owner Lurking

I have been "in the hunt" for a GT ever since a NASCAR (driver) buddy of mine got one. I have had 7 Vipers since 95 --currently with 3 including VIN 2(1992).

I started on ebay, Autotrader, and for some dumb reason did not find this forum till recently--and proceeded to learn more in 30 minutes than I had in 3 days.

I have a couple of emails into Shelby (who I found here) and have been going back and forth with some ebay dealers (some better than others)

Any suggestions on where to find a good one are welcome. I would likely be trading one of my vipers-likely an 06, or possibly my 09 (not the 92). I have a Final 50 edition 2010 Viper on order.

just have Shelby locate one for you. You will be in good hands.
 
These are cars where a very reputable dealer (several are supporting members of this site), and/or a thorough PPI by someone in the know is key. Good luck.

I own three Vipers, you'll find the Viper the the GT to be very different. Good luck in your hunt. I hope you find the right one for you!

Thanks. Unlike the Viper market (down) GTS must be on the upswing. Hard to find and I am lucky if dealers return emails. May have to move to a Zr1:wink

I knowBernie well---good guy and helpful .He does not have any that I am looking for at present.

Shelby may be getting one soon--if I could just get him to answer my emails!And there is one on ebay I am looking at closely.

Be careful there, and be sure to have a PPI done BY A FGT EXPERT if you intend to buy - especially on ebay, but, from anywhere else as well. 'Execptions would be from a 'GT Forum member, or one of the dealer sponsors here. :cheers
 
There is a brand new one still in the wrapper near my house at Ocean park Ford with some nice upgrades done by the owner of the dealership

It is red with white stripes

If you are interested in a new one , PM me , I must caution he is not letting it go cheap

I thought I had returned all your emails. last one I just noticed is you want me to give you a number on your viper. Rest assured I am working on it. Its much easier to talk to me by phone if you want immediate assistance. my phone number is plastered pretty much everywhere. I will be happy to help find one even if its not onw in my inventory. :thumbsup

Had a nice long talk with Shelby today. Very helpful.

I had hoped that like in Viperworld, there were guys who sell AND own the car and have a passion for it--Shelby seems to certainly fit the bill.
