Tune up required?

Here's a couple links to what we run today... well last year anyway.

Flatrod,

WOW!! I think the 1965 Mustang I just bought is in need of a tune up. It appears to be a bit sluggish compared to yours.

Nothing like the sound of a healthy Ford smallblock

Well Chip, you just have to rev it up to about 8000 rpm and side step the clutch!!! Something will happen!!

I think something will happen on the way to 8000 RPM before ever sdie stipping the clutch. :willy

I think that was Sarah P. in the control tower cheering you on

Great videos Dennis. That is a seriously quick Mustang. I wish I had the talent and stones to drive one.

Every time I see one of your posts I start missing Alaska. I need to plan another trip. We still talk about all the neat stuff in your shop. My son really liked the Ford tank motor.

Well Paul the way you say you have driven your GT I think you would have no problem with the power the Mustang has, its only 672 hp.
If you are ever back in Alaska, be sure to stop in!!

Anders,

Wow, When you went to pass the mini, coming out of the turn, I saw no lean at all. You must have some incredible suspension, probably not stock.:rof

Flatrod, Only 672? Must be pretty light and is hooking up well!!!!

Larry,
The car is 2480 with driver. Small block 347, with a Lenco 4 speed trans. The car is mostly fiberglass, with 2x3 tube chassis.
