New wheel & tires

I mounted these and wanted someone else's opinion on them. I wanted to see if I am going to get interference from how far they stick out. There were no spacer used.

No side-view photos? :-)

Not important for the question.

OK...but we all love to see GT with non-standard wheels on!!

Depends on which, springs, shocks, etc and how hard you push it.

If you stay with these, suggest that you get the Stillen wheel well flaps. They look like "factory" items.

Yeah, my biggest worry would be rubbing the upper wheelwell. Maybe with the unequal a-arms the tire will fit, but I really don't know.

The A arms should articulate enough inward when the suspension is compressed to clear the fender. Best way to find out would be to remove the coilover so the suspension could move freely and bolt the wheel and tire back on and compress the suspension up into the fender well to see if its gonna clear. That way you will know 100%

Thanks Shelby. I might just do that.

Hmmm John, I don't really have the technical knowledge to say. I know Iforged has done 10+ GTs which is why I went with them on these wheels.

I could email the pics to Iforged customer service and see what they have to say.

Kumar,
Would you. I like the wheels, but they need to clear the fenders. I have additional shots and I can take measurements if necessary.

If these are I-forged wheels you should be OK. All the I forged wheels that I have seen have an agressive offset (stick out more than stock) but I have never heard of a problem. Your wheels look like what I am used to seeing from I forged.....

I would get some clear tape and some mud flaps cause it looks like its going to through stuff all over the car.

Thanks Kumar I also have a long straight edge that I can put against the tire to show the exact amount it sticks out. Should have it all later today.

They look great!

I have Iforge on both gts.they are 345 right,Mine are 335/25/22s just a tad
less sticks out.

Ok, so here is picture of how far the wheel is protruding out of the fender. Shelby, does this look right? I measure 5/8" outside on the centerline of the wheel. :confused

Boy, it's hard to imagine how the suspension geometry will enable that to clear. Unequal a-arm components or not. I'd really be interested in the results of your 'no coilover' experiment. It would establish the 'limit case' result for 345's. Or so it seems.
GL though. (and yes, where's that side shot??)

I have seen photos of 345 Scuderia mounted to stock wheels clearing the fender.

I have emailed Iforged. The wheels are my responsibility since I ordered them. I'm hoping I don't get the run around from them. If I don't hear something back by mid week, I am going to start calling.

Thanks Kumar, I appreciate that.
